Starbucks Experience

Today I had my worst Starbucks experience ever.

I was trying to get an iced grande mocha valencia, one of the less known but great taste latte. The "Barista," if you don't mind calling her one, was busying preparing for another customer. It took her 8 mins, because she forgot that that customer wanted two lattes instead of one. Never mind, I should be the next.

Well no. While she started planning about my drink long ago, she didn't realize she ran out of valencia syrup. So she started looking for the person ordered mocha valencia. She asked two customers came after me what they ordered before asking me, by the time she has already started to prepare the drink for the next customer. Then I told her that I would have a white chocolate mocha instead (which is always so freakingly sweet). She took a paper cup for hot drink, before I had to remind her that my drink is "iced."

Then she kept preparing the drink for the next customer, just to realize that she has already forgotten what the next customer ordered. Lather, rinse, repeat. After another round of Q&A, she finally got what us all ordered to make the drinks.

When she finally gave me mine, she spilled the drink all over, making the whole cup wet. (Yet she didn't mix the drink... how could she not do that and spill?)

Maybe there are too many customers for her to handle. It's hard to imagine what would happen if there are, say, more than three customers. And no, she's not new there. I've seen her there for a few months already.

For the record, the Starbucks I went to is at Bellaire & Stella Link.
